How to make the perfect cat/ adopter match

We’ll go over how to make the perfect match for a cat who has graduated the Socialization Saves Lives method.

- The adoption process step-by-step.

- How to quickly find out if an adopter isn't a match so that you don't waste the adopter's time and you make the most efficient use of your time.

- How to not miss out on the perfect adopter who may not seem like a great match on paper.

- Questions to ask in order to figure out if an adopter would be willing to follow the accelerated program (2-4 weeks) in order to gain the cat's trust and have the cat blossom back to a cuddly kitty.

- How to get other cats adopted even without posting them.

- How to do meet and greets that will show the true sweet, cuddly personality of the cat once the cat trusts you.

- How to prep your foster parents for meet and greets.

- How to establish credibility when you are adopting out a cat as a solo rescuer (not a non-profit organization).

- How to create an excellent adopter experience.

We'll also go over special situations such as:

- The adopter currently has other pets.

- Constraints with the home environment such as not being able to install screens on the windows.

How to create compelling adoption listings and videos

Create compelling adoption videos and listings for a cat who has graduated socialization using the Socialization Saves Lives method.

- Copywriting: how to frame and phrase the adoption listing title and text to attract the right kind of adopter for a socialized cat

- Photos: what kind of photos you should include in the listing

- Aesthetics: basic animal photography tips on how to capture your kitty in the best light (pun intended)

- Video: how to use simple phone apps to create emotionally stirring videos that show the unique personality of the cat

You don't need fancy equipment or need fancy software. I take all my videos with an iPhone and now use VideoLeap. I also used to use the free iMovie app that comes with the iPhone.
